Stijn De Munter is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in the development and clinical translation of next-generation CAR T cell therapies. His work leverages state of the art gene editing technologies to engineer innovative CAR T cell products. He brings extensive expertise in viral vectors, gene editing and CAR T cell biology.

At CellGENTherapies, Stijn serves as a project manager, where he provides strategic scientific guidance and technical support in gene transfer methodologies and CAR T cell therapy. He is closely involved in moving advanced novel therapies from the research stage to clinical application.

He earned his PhD in Health Sciences from Ghent University (UGent), where his research focused on pioneering CAR T cell strategies through the clever combination of heavy-chain-only antibodies and gene editing technologies.
