Alessio is a proactive and passionate scientist, driven by an authentic aspiration to impact the future of drug development and analysis. At CellGENTherapies he is responsible for developing and validating quality control workflows for the release of personalized ATMPs.

Contemporarily, he is conducting is PhD research at Ghent University for exploring the value of long-read sequencing analysis in comparison to traditional techniques, with the purpose to enhance quality control scenarios in a GMP environment. He earned his master’s degree in Pharmacy at the University of Trieste (Italy) with maximum grades, and proceeded to work in an industrial context as a quality control scientist for more than four years before moving to Gent.
