CellGENTherapies is partner in the EU co-funded ATMP XB project, aiming to strengthen the Flemish–Dutch border region as a leading hub for ATMP research and development by providing reliable infrastructure, fostering innovation, building knowledge and creating strong cross-border collaboration.
ATMPs (advanced therapy medicinal products) include cell and gene therapies that use living cells or genetically modified material to treat severe or currently incurable diseases such as cancer, rare genetic disorders and chronic inflammatory conditions. Through collaboration between educational institutions, hospitals and companies, ATMP XB focuses on improving production, quality control, technology development and specialized training to help bring these innovative therapies to patients faster and more safely.
