Flanders invests heavily in research infrastructure: advanced laboratories, testing facilities, pilot plants, databases, and digital platforms that help form the foundation of innovation and technological progress. 

These infrastructures are not only crucial for scientific research but also offer concrete opportunities for companies wishing to innovate, experiment, or develop new products and services. 

The publication ‘Research Infrastructure in Flanders and Participation in International Research Infrastructures’ aims to make the Flemish portfolio of research infrastructure for researchers and companies, including Flemish participation in international research infrastructures, more visible and accessible. 

The publication specifically illustrates the opportunities they offer for shared use, collaboration, and valorisation.
